This journal is a collection of experiences by my associates and myself (Mark Prado, MP). Unlike most foreigners, most of my time in Thailand has been spent far outside the usual foreigner areas, and I find that my experiences are quite different and thus of fairly unique interest to other farangs.

Actually, most of the stuff on this page is very old, stuff from the 1990s and early 2000s. I never did a blog, and always wrote things for a particular section of the website in a useful way.

Nighttime leisure - G-rated:

LoSo concert, Thai rock - You can see Thai superstars at ordinary dinner and entertainment places, but at this one I met the band's groupies.

Carabao concert, Thai life song group, attended in Nakhon Chaisri (MP) -- coming soon

GOD=DOG backwards (MP) - Neighbors in province ask my deceased dog in grave for money

Adults-only, age 21+ - Naughttime leisure
